Tine Deckers de retour à lIronman France : la favorite pour un deuxième titre en 2010 ?

Tine Deckers (BEL) rejoint le plateau pro féminin de la course azuréenne. En bouclant le parcours en 9h30 lors de lédition 2009, la triathlète de 31 ans avait pris la première place du podium, imposant, dans le même temps, un nouveau record. Un tour de force quelle est bien déterminée à reproduire en revenant sur ce triathlon au format quelle affectionne

Athlète avant dêtre triathlète, la percée de Tine Deckers commence en 2005 quand elle est sacrée championne de Belgique Longue Distance aux côtés de son compatriote Frederik Van Lierde. Dès lors, elle se lance dans la compétition internationale et réalise de belles performances en Longue Distance puis sur Ironman : 2nde au Championnat dEurope de Brasschaat en juin 2007, 9ème au Championnat du Monde dAlmere en aout 2008 et 1ère de lIronman France en 2009.

Depuis la fin de lannée, la triathlète est passée professionnelle. Elle vient de décrocher le bronze sur lIronman Afrique du Sud à Port Elizabeth. Cest donc en conquérante que Tine Deckers disputera lIronman France le 27 juin prochain.

En 2009, elle avait signé un beau coup dessai avec de remarquables chronos dans les 3 disciplines pour son 1er Ironman à Nice devant Christel Robin (FR) et Martina Dogana (ITA) avec un marathon accompli en 3h11 ! En 2010, elle devra aussi compter avec de sérieuses rivales comme Erika Csomor pour accomplir un nouvel exploit.

Fastening the course in 930 in 2009, the 31 years old triathlete get onto the first step of the podium, laying down a new record to beat, at the same time. A performance she is determined to repeat with this category of triathlon she likes …

Athlete before becoming triathlete, Tina Deckers wins her first title in 2005 when consecrated Belgium champion Long Distance with her countryman Frederik Van Lierde. Therefore, she went into international competition and achieves good performances in Long Distance: 2nd at European Championship in Brasschaat in June 2007, 9th at World Championships in Almere in August 2008 and 1st at Ironman France in 2009.

The triathlete has begun a professional career since the end of the year. She has just won bronze medal at Ironman South Africa in Port Elizabeth. Conquering, Tine Deckers is competing Ironman France next June 27th.

In 2009, she did a good try with outstanding times on the 3 disciplines for her first Ironman in Nice, in front of Martina Dogana (ITA) and Christel Robin (FR) with a marathon completed in 311! In 2010, she will face to important rivals as Erika Csomor to accomplish a new performance.
